As MASNO celebrates its 38th anniversary in 2018, it proudly continues its efforts to make New Orleans a vital and vibrant center for the musical arts: providing opportunities to hear some of the world’s best musical talents; supporting emerging artists; developing enthusiastic audiences; nurturing the development of talent; and championing music education through innovative programming and signature events such as the New Orleans International Piano Competition, the New Orleans Piano Institute and Keyboard Festival, Festival PiaNOLA and Concerto Showcase in collaboration with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, Nocturne, Salon Concerts, and MASNO Artist Master Classes and Lecture Performances at area schools.
“MASNO is a priceless gem in a crown of New Orleans energy. Every event that MASNO brings to life has such a magnetic charisma. Every person I’ve met at MASNO has been amazing and inspiring in so many ways. The entire experience makes the vibe of classical music scenery in New Orleans so unique, insightful, and distinctive. Bravo and live on MASNO!” — Former Gold Medalists of the New Orleans International Piano Competition, Russian-American pianist Alexandre Moutouzkine (2004 NOIPC Gold Medalist and frequent Guest Artist):
