Joan of Arc Project / Krewe de Jeanne d’Arc

Joan of Arc Project

Join Joan’s Army of Artists… We’re also an army of historians, Francophones, feminists, spiritual people and even flaming heretics! The Joan of Arc Project also known as Krewe de Jeanne d’Arc puts on an annual medieval walking parade in the French Quarter telling the story of the life of Joan of Arc, patron saint of France and of New Orleans’ sister city Orléans, France. We parade on January 6, Joan of Arc’s birthday and Twelfth Night, and also host an annual Salon de Jeanne d’Arc conference and other events year-round promoting Joan of Arc and the French heritage of New Orleans.
